This summer we sponsored an August summer holiday club week in Fareham that’s run by local churches. With our support, ‘Christians Together’ provided free t-shirts for the 80 or so children taking part in the ‘treasure quest’ every day for a whole week’s activities held at United Reform Church, Holy Trinity Church and Fareham Community Church. A team from Lifekids led the week’s activities alongside many local volunteers.

Our Managing Director Jonathan Holley comments, “We were delighted to help support local churches and volunteers in our community who came together this summer to give children in Fareham a chance to take part in arts and crafts activities and games, dress up as pirates, climb the rigging, search for treasure and sing songs”.

As a responsible employer Nationwide Hire recognises its role in the community. As well as supporting community initiatives at a company level we also have a structured programme of supporting our staff to be involved in their communities and help fund their initiatives.
